It is particularly important to us that Bayliss customers are satisfied with their purchase and understand our terms and conditions. Please read the following policy regarding returns and exchanges. If you remain in any way uncertain, please call or email us.
Rug Warranty Policy for Trade and Wholesale Customers
Due to the handmade nature of our rugs, they are not covered by an unconditional warranty. However, Bayliss Rugs will evaluate any rug for structural defects within 12 months of purchase and determine if it qualifies for repair or replacement, provided it has been used in normal domestic settings and cared for according to our maintenance guidelines, available on the back of your Bayliss rug or on our website. The decision to repair or replace is at the sole discretion of Bayliss Rugs, and we reserve the right to attempt repairs prior to offering a replacement.
In cases where a replacement is required, we will provide the same rug if available. If the original is no longer in stock, a comparable product of equal value will be offered. Please note, this warranty is voided by improper or negligent use. The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper cleaning, chemical exposure, water or flood damage, fading due to sunlight, misuse, resizing, pet accidents, or general wear and tear.
Manufacturing variations, as previously described, are not classified as defects. To initiate a warranty claim, please submit photographic evidence to support your request.
Other Warranties
For rugs purchased through a stockist, the warranty provided by the stockist will apply. Please contact the stockist directly for any warranty claims.
